GA Aquarium

Since the amount of pictures was making the post below go all screwy, here is a picture tour of the GA Aquarium, exhibit by photographed exhibit.

Parking garage. Ben really, really, really loves the GA Aquarium sign for some reason. I told him I'd use this picture in Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 as a texture.

When you first walk in, after going through bag checks, coat checks, etc., you see this tank of fish.

Observe here, a touch tank for rays and little sharks.

Lucky and Ireland, watching the fish. Yes, I brought a Webkinz and a yarn doll into the Aquarium. I felt like it. (besides, what with all of the Toy Story movies, I'm convinced most of my toys have souls...)

I have lived for quite awhile thinking that moon jellyfish don't sting. And then during the trip Mom told me that yes, they do sting! She lied to us just to get us to go swimming in the ocean! I am still kind of ticked at her for that. In a few weeks she'll be saying that we're really living on the moon. Pie.

This is Olympia. She is our first Guinea pig and is named after the fact that she runs like an Olympic racer.

The one in the back corner is Mouchi. She and Tanuki are sisters.

Now in the back corner we have Tanuki.

And this is Oreo Blizzard, known better as Blitz. She is talking to Mouchi, warning her of the paparazzi.

Day 2

Today, August 13th 2010, is a Friday the 13th. My poor brother Burdle...He thought you celebrate it in the Webkinz World. "No," I told him, "you don't celebrate that in the Webkinz World. They tend to turn it into levels in Dragon Fable and episodes of Supernatural."

This is obviously not my brother.  This is in fact Wonder with her face mashed in a cupholder. I think she was asleep, too.

Burdle turns 11 years old on the 1st of December.
